Apple is practically condemned to make its fans forget about the iPhone 11 lineup, and it will release iPhone 12 in October. The Pro Max version of the upcoming lineup of flagship iPhones for 2020 is expected to be the most expensive, and arguably the most impressive.
Even though Apple usually launches its annual flagships in September, it won’t happen by the same formula in the case of iPhone 12. And yes, you’ve already guessed the reason for the delay: the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic that’s the most widespread in the US.
120Hz refresh rate for the display
A new leak from the reliable tipster Jon Prosser comes to reveal to us some precious info about iPhone 12 Pro Max. He claims that the upcoming gadget will have a powerful refresh rate of 120Hz, LiDAR-supported autofocus for its cameras , a slimmed-down notch, and here’s the killer feature: 4K video recording at 240fps. The display is huge, measuring 6.7 inches.
The leaker even made a whole video where he speaks about what iPhone 12 is made of:
The upcoming iPhone 12 flagship lineup will become available in four variants: standard, Max, Pro, and Pro Max. They will all be featuring 5G technology. Whether we like it or not, 5G is the new trend for smartphones, and it’s understandable why: the new technology shall grant faster and more stable internet connections than ever. Watching live streaming will be a more pleasant experience than ever, as the videos won’t interrupt and freeze anymore as they did without the 5G technology.
The highlight for the iPhone 12 lineup remains the A14 Bionic chipset. Being the predictable successor of the A13 processor, A14 will grant even faster processing speeds. A13 is arguably the fastest processor available for smartphones in the present.
